I’m not here to play politics — I’m here to change how politics is done.

I’m Jamil McKinney. I’m running for State Representative to break down the tired norms that keep Illinois stuck, and replace them with real standards that push legislators to act — or lose their pay.

Illinois politicians have racked up massive debt and unfunded obligations while ignoring the real needs of our communities. I’m here to usher in a new era of leadership: Democrats who lead with integrity, urgency, and courage — not party loyalty.

I love this state, and I’ll protect it from any threat, including federal overreach that hurts our kids, our communities, and our future. With your support, we can transform District 113 into a model of what real representation looks like.
